The snow and rain in Sunderland forced the NPF to cancel their demo.
The Northern Patriotic Front’s planned demo over the proposed construction of a mosque in Millfield has been cancelled due to the weather.
An NPF spokesperson told Run of the Millfield that the weather was the reason for the cancellation, as the rain and snow affected many parts of the North East on Saturday morning.
However, Mike Hartman, spokesperson of Tyne and Wear Anti-Fascist Association, confirmed the news on Twitter, claiming that the real reason for the cancellation was a lack of support for the NPF. Continue reading
